Painting a Metal Roof

Dear Shell,

We would like some advice on which/what paint to use on our metal roof. Also, other than cleaning etc., is there any other prep we should be doing? We intend to spray paint figuring this would do a better job in covering the ridges where the sheets join.

Thanks for your help!

Dear Eric,

Choose a cloudy day to do this project. Wash the roof using Shell Busey's Home Cleaning Formula, rinse well and allow it to dry. If there are any rust areas they must be primed with Red Oxide Primer. To finish the project, use a synthetic bristle brush and apply Cloverdale Paint's Towerthon Elastomeric Paint in the colour of your choice. You'll be very pleased with the result.
