Replacing flooring with plastic laminate or wood plastic laminate - September 25th 2000

Question from: Larry

Dear Shell,

We need to replace our flooring and we are considering hardwood or laminate. The area to be done would be the front entranceway, the living room/dining room, a hallway and the kitchen. Are there advantages of laminate flooring over hardwood? Are either suitable for the kitchen area?

Thanks, Larry

Dear Larry,

Both can be used in your areas. Plastic laminates or wood plastic laminate flooring is all the rage today. But considering good, better, best one of the best would be Alloc using a metal joining system (no glue required) to install. Available in your area through Revy Home & Garden. If wood is to be your choice consider Engineered Mirage Hardwood available through Alberta Hardwood Floors.

Itís just that easy.
