Installing Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Q) We have been looking into replacing the flooring in our great room, and decided on engineered hardwood flooring. We've heard several different opinions regarding how it should be installed. Can you please tell us how should engineered hardwood be installed on a concrete slab?

A) Prior to installation make sure that the engineered flooring has been acclimatized by opening all sealed packaging and leaving it in the room where it is to be installed for at least a week. Prepare the sub floor surface making sure the floor is clean of dusts & debris. Also make sure the surface is laser leveled.

Apply the polyurethane adhesive following manufacturers' instructions. Ensure your floor has been measured square to opposing walls and measure flooring width to lay out area starting with chalk line from one wall.
