I have dried glue and damage on a plaster wall. - April 4th 2002

Question from: Lorna

Dear Shell,

How can I remove dried white glue from a plaster wall? It held wainscoting on - which I have removed. I have tried chisel and am gouging the wall.

Thank you,
Lorna

Dear Lorna,

The best and easiest way of repairing is to apply Sheetrock over entire wall and finish. You will have to visit your local drywall contractor supply house to purchase thickness. The other alternative would be to remove the drywall for just the damaged area and then replace it, tape and fill.
