Wasps nests

Q) Every year we get wasps building nests in eaves above our patio. It gets so bad that we can’t even enjoy our patio. On your radio show, you have talked about a product to make hornets and wasps go away. I recall that is was something that you hang where the wasps are a problem. I can’t recall what the name of it was.

A) First, I suggest you contact a local pest control company to get rid of these nests. It’s not something that I would recommend homeowners take care of themselves. Once you have got rid of the nests you will want to keep them out. The product you are looking for is “The Original Waspinator”.
Similar to the idea of hanging stuffed paper bags to mimic wasps’ nest, The Waspinator hangs up to look like a large nest. They are extremely territorial and this fake wasp nest sends them in another direction.
