Q. I want to install peel and stick floor tiles in the master bath. It seems eventually the seam lines show and there is an ugly space between every tile. Is there something that can be done so that this doesn't happen?
A. When installing vinyl tiles ensure the subfloor plywood is the same temperature top and bottom ie; crawlspace or basement. This will ensure the substructure does not shrink causing the tile to move. Before placing the new tiles on the floor surface make sure all boxes of tile are open and placed in the room which they will be installed for a minimum of 48-hours at room temperature.
