Zajac Ranch for Children - Aeroplan Charitable Pooling Program
April 21, 2011
Each year, the Zajac Ranch for Children hosts hundreds of children with serious and chronic illnesses and disabilities who might not otherwise have a chance to enjoy a summer camp experience.
Some of their campers need dialysis, others have Autism and some have physical challenges that keep them at home while other kids are outside enjoying life.
The Ranch gives young people with extraordinary needs a chance to make friends, to try new things and above all, to have fun.
Help send children with special medical needs to camp
During the month of April, Zajac Ranch for Children is participating in the
Aeroplan Charitable Pooling Program which supports the pooling of Aeroplan Miles for charitable initiatives.
Zajac Ranch for Children is encouraging all of its supporters to donate their unused Aeroplan Miles in support of sending children with special medical needs to the Zajac Ranch for the experience of a lifetime.
Aeroplan Miles donations will help provide these children and their families much more than an opportunity to attend summer camp with their peers. They will provide a much more valuable and longer lasting gift:
• Independence and self-esteem building experiences
• Sense of accomplishment of what previously seemed impossible
• Belief in abilities versus disabilities
• Enhance their quality of life through tearing down barriers
Donations will be accepted until April 30th, 2011. The process is very simple. Just download the
Pledge Form and return the completed pledge from to the Zajac Ranch for Children by fax 604-739-0444 or via mail (300 – 2006 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 2B3).
