Sol Terra Ranch & Shell Busey Present a Clinic on Modular Homes
October 2, 2009
A full turn out came out to take in an informative session showcasing Kelowna's newest modular housing development presented by Shell Busey and Sol Terra Ranch. The neighbourhood of high quality modular homes in Kelowna, Sol Terra Ranch will be the same as a site-build neighbourhood - except for the speed of development and the cost-savings. Shell and representatives from Sol Terra were on hand to answer questions about modular built homes and this development located just a stones throw from UBC Okanagan, complete with a rental suite.
This was a great opportunity for people to see first hand the quality of construction that goes into these individual modular residences. Shell Busey has been actively working with the Modular Manufacturing Housing Associations in both BC and the Prairies to educate consumers on the benefits of this form of construction.
About Sol Terra Ranch:
Once installed, these quality modular homes are as varied and quality-packed as site-built homes. There are a range of styles available, including ranchers, Cape Cod cottages, split level homes, and custom designs. These are full-size homes, with garages and space for secondary suites. The only difference is the savings in cost and the speed of delivery and assembly achieved by manufacturing components in a controlled factory environment.
Manufactured homes are also environmentally friendly. Factory manufacturing of modular home components means less transport of workers and materials, allows for the most effective use of energy and materials, and reduced waste. High quality modular Homes are also built to be energy efficient.
Designs can be easily customized and the most up-to-date floor plans and finishes are available. You can choose your new home from either of these exceptional providers of modular homes, both of whom are based in Kelowna.
